Thanksgiving is Not Just a Holiday

Ephesians 4:29 – Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. You are what you say… what you read… what you hear. You can be found in what you write as well; […]

Decorating for February

I started out doing one craft and ended up doing quite a few. I never was able to prevent the proverbial rabbit trail around here… and that goes for homeschooling, crafting, and life in general. I tend to get lost looking at amazing things on Pinterest and say to myself, “I could make that!” And […]

A Break

So funny how I just gave some great advice on parenting heartbreak in that past post… and now I’m using it on myself. This mama is going to take a little break from the blog for a while, to tend to some heartbreak in real life. Sadly, heartbreak doesn’t play favorites. Life is going to […]

Faith

Faith is the assurance of what we have not yet seen. It shapes our world-view and leads us to answers for all of life’s questions. It gives us purpose and hope. It sheds light on the proper way to conduct our lives and gives us a rich heritage with many mentors to help when we […]

Spritti Who?

Howdy. I'm Heather.

I'm a Christian Wife, Foodie, Writer, Homeschool Teacher, Artist....

OH YEAH, I'm also a Professional Event, Portrait, Art & Wedding Photographer - (which currently is the only job I get paid for).

I'm also a DIY amateur, Gourmet Cook on a mission to eat clean with good reason - I was diagnosed with colon cancer in August of 2016 (read: bona-fide health nut), and I have a cacti collection that is bordering on a business... a hobby farm we are just now beginning as a new adventure for our family... and of course, as you might expect living in rattlesnake country, I'm a gun-toting Native Texan (Yeehaw!)

I've been trapping Google-searchers here since 2005.

Bless your little heart. I'm so glad you stopped by.
