Many of the older recipes on this site are NOT health food, so go easy on me – we live and learn.
Our family currently eats mostly sugar-free and only ancient grains and paleo-ish. We aren’t on any specific diet, we’re just trying to eat right for LIFE – not a fad or just to lose weight. We’ve been doing this for nearly 6 months and counting (at the time of this page creation, that is – June 2014).
The benefits have been amazing and I have actually lost weight, but I’m feeling better and so thrilled knowing that I’ve changed our family’s health for the future since we did this while the little kids are young. It was really hard at first for the oldest (17) to get on board. The earlier you get healthy the better, I’d say!
