Conversation this afternoon…
Me – “Why are you crying Morgan?”
Morgan – “Sometimes I cry un-needable.”
(I chuckle and marvel at how estrogen has started it’s debilitating work in my baby who isn’t even seven years old.)
She begins to write her pen pal a letter.
Morgan – “I hope my pen pals don’t find out how crazy I am.”
I laugh.
Me – “It’s OK, Morgan. Some people in life will like you JUST BECAUSE you are crazy.”

She’s beautiful.
My 9 y/old informed her daddy the other day: “I’m going through changes and need to eat yogurt.”
LOL! My husband was flabbergasted.

Thanks for the comments. Wow, Monicar, that’s a little early to be “Going through Changes”, isn’t it? Don’t scare me like that. Is it possible for a six year old to get boy crazy? I think Morgan has her first crush on someone besides her Daddy or Luke Skywalker. 🙂

AWWWWW…poor little Morgany. Why does she think she is crazy?

Morgan’s beautiful! I hadn’t seen her with her hair cut – or you!
How sweet. She’s crazy cute.
Peace,
Cindy.

I don’t think you’re crazy, or your daughter. You just sound like people who are being honest about feeling emotional – regardless of what form that takes.
Your humanness is beautiful, and a testiment to the various ways that we need God and each other for support and encouragement.
Morgan looks like a darling little girl. And, you are the best Mom she could possibly have and that is why God gave her to your keeping.
Blessings, as you grow together and figure out who you are in Christ. I’m still working on that one, too.

I think it’s a bit early too. One of my nieces … how do we say it … uhhh … stared menses at 10.
I haven’t noticed any of THOSE changes yet however she does have emotional times. Doesn’t everyone?! LOL! My husband is stuck in a house full of females. There are days he just doesn’t know what to do with us.
The 5 year old has a crush already – on a little 6 y/old boy in the neighborhood.
*sigh*

Sara – because she cries for no reason (like all the other women of the world)…
Thanks Cindy. I forgot that we didn’t see you before we moved out of state! How sad.
Jan, you always make me feel better – that’s why I nominated you for Best Inspirational Blog! 🙂
Monicar – Yep, my 6 year old sat next to an 11 year old on the couch last night and watched a movie while me and his mom had coffee and talked Konos. I kept looking over my shoulder ready to slap both of them if they tried anything. HA!

Just wanted to say that I think your daughter is terribly cute.
I’ve been snooping on your blog that past couple weeks and love reading about your family and all you have to say. I thought I should at least let you know that you have a lurker!
I’m a homeschool graduate, mom of 2 and a busy wife. Your blog is right up my alley! Keep it up — it’s hard to find a good blog worth reading these days.

Thanks Coeur d’Court. I’m glad my blog is doing something for someone other than me. 🙂
