Glad you're getting the opportunity to use your homeschool experience and writing talent all at once. Am checking it out now…. Btw, tomorrow I'm reviewing various homeschool curriculum and how we went from being strict ABeka to the complete opposite – it's neat to be able to look back and see how God works as we grow, isn't it?
It's all good. I enjoyed the writing assignment because it helped me remember the fever and joy of those fun first years. They fizzle out some when Junior High gets here and the changes of maturity begin. It is good to remember why you started – and to rekindle the old fires. 😉
I absolutely agree! The less my kids are in workbooks and are experiencing and experimenting the more they retain and they can attach a memory to what they've learned. And in the end, we had fun in the process.
