Ever wondered what the Force was? Well, I found out after my kids played Star Wars Battlefront recently. They kept telling me that there were bible verses in the game. I didn’t believe them. Now I do.

Wow! What kind of game is this?

Are you serious?? My friend’s son plays this game and she worries about it. It might make her feel better if she saw this. Of course, depending on what’s actually on the game aside from Bible verses, may be of some concern. I don’t know.

I have played that with my boys and have never noticed anything like that.Hummm.

Bug – The game is not all that desirable if you ask me… but then, I have a real problem with wasting your life in front of a video game. My husband says wasting my life in front of a blog is no different, but I beg to differ. At least blogging is helping others and communicating with others… and learning skills that could one day land me a web design job (OK – maybe the last one is far fetched). I ask the kids to only shoot at robots – no people combat. I limit their screen time to weekends (except for Mavis Beacon Typing and the occassional educational game), also. The problem is: Daddy plays this game, so how can I tell them it is bad? 🙁
Firefly – Like I said, I really don’t like any shooting video game. The most horrific graphics for me are a Lemming blowing itself up or falling off a cliff… or Mrs. Pac Man getting caught by a ghostie… or even worse – your 2-D tank getting blown up in that old 80’s? game “Scorched Earth”.
tcs – One of the Bible verses is inside a room in a building, and the other one is on a roof-top outside. You can get to the roof-top by being “boba fet” who can fly (according to my 7 year old). Leave it to the kids to find the hidden secrets of the games. My husband always looks for “cheat codes” online to find out all the game’s secrets.
There are few video games that I will waste time playing. I do like Lego Racer, Mrs. Pac Man: Quest for the Golden Maze, Lemmings Revolution, Typer Shark (Yahoo), and the ancient Scorched Earth. It is rare that I’ll sit and play anything, though. My Mrs. Pacman is stuck in a broken down PC that won’t power up… and has been for half a year. Eventually, Kev will take it apart and get it out for me. I may play the game and beat it to celebrate.

I can’t seem to find anything like this. Was it for the PC, or something like the Game Cube, PS2, and Xbox?

It is a Star Wars Battlefront game. My husband and son went to a site where you could download maps for the game. They downloaded that game so they could play as boba fett and ob1. They kept finding pictures on the walls. It was interesting.

PC, by the way.
